You don't have to endure the excruciating pain I faced during my early years in entrepreneurship.

You don't have to endure the excruciating pain I faced during my early years in entrepreneurship.

We all have our fair share of challenges and stories to share about our parents, and I must admit that, sadly, some of them may not always be pleasant.

I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have been blessed with the best parents one could ever wish for – caring, loving, and always striving to provide the best for my four siblings and me.

Our little family was united by love, and we shared a profound passion for life. When I was still young, my parents made a bold decision to pursue their dreams of entrepreneurship, choosing to step away from their 9-to-5 jobs. They ventured into the world of consumables and agro products, specifically focusing on livestock.

The initial years were filled with excitement and success. We experienced a surge in customers and witnessed a significant increase in profits. As a ten-year-old, I often accompanied my father on weekends to check the livestock farms and even play with the chickens. Those moments were filled with joy and wonder, and I cherished the time spent with my dad, learning from him about business and life.

But as time passed, things started to go south.? The once-booming company started to flounder,?and the reasons behind this decline were beyond my understanding as a young child.

I became increasingly driven to forge my own path as I grew older. At the age of 18, I launched "Success Yard," a platform designed to aid undergraduates in discovering their purpose and developing both personally and professionally.?Even though I poured my heart and soul into it during my university days, I faced challenges in taking the vision beyond that phase, ultimately leading to its abandonment.

After my university days, I decided to start another enterprise named "Strategic Solutions," a human capacity development and marketing firm, unfazed by the failure. Despite my best attempts, my project encountered several difficulties and did not go as expected.

In Africa, it is common to attribute business challenges to spiritual factors, but I refused to be confined by such beliefs. Instead, I sought guidance and support from someone who could understand my struggles and help me find my true purpose in business.

That's when I met Monsuru Sodeeq , who has since become my invaluable business coach and mentor. Thanks to his guidance and insights, I have finally discovered a clear sense of purpose and identified the business I am truly passionate about.

Now, I can confidently say that you don't have to endure the excruciating pain I faced during my early years in entrepreneurship. With the right guidance, support, and determination, you can overcome challenges and find your own path to success.

That's why I'm excited to announce an upcoming event that could be a game-changer for aspiring entrepreneurs like you. The Startup Booster 1.0 organized by the Institute of Applied Knowledge is designed to provide you with the tools, strategies, and inspiration to navigate the unpredictable waters of entrepreneurship successfully.
