Are you doing things for the right reasons?
Is it for achievement?
Or is it really because of fear?
I've spent a big chunk of my time believing I was doing things for achievement and growth when it reality it was for fear.
Fear I wasn't enough.
Fear I would lose what I have.
Fear I would get what I wanted.
Fear that if I didn't achieve something that it would some how mean I didn't deserve love.
Entrepreneurs and achieves like me, we call fear stress.
And then we act like we are not afraid.
But when you as enough questions to yourself, you always end up at fear.
---
Why are you stressed?
Because I have to get stuff done..
What happens if you don't get it done?
Then I wont be able to get my ads live..
What happens if you don't get your ads live?
I wont get any clients..
What happens if you don't get any clients?
I wont make any money and my business will go down..
What happens if you don't make any money and your business goes down?
Well I wont be able to afford to live..
And what happens if you can't afford to live?
I'll die.
---
The reality is that all stress, is just fear if you peel the layers back enough.
But if we don't face it...
Then we don't take the right actions and we set ourselves up for suffering.
Unhappiness.
And ironically failure.
Do you think it is sustainable to constantly be acting out of fear, while in pursuit of a good quality of life and success and growth and contribution?
No.
So how can we break this?
For me, it started with catching myself whenever I was coming from a place of lack or scarcity.

Was I asking empowering gratitude filled questions, or questions of lack that presuppose negativity.
"Why isn't this working?"
vs
"How can I find the answer right now that will give me [insert clear concise result]?"
When we are truthful with what we really want in life, we can take authentic actions that create what we want.
When we are doing things for reasons that don't serve what we really want. We take actions that hurt us. Sometimes it just takes years to realise it.
I like realising these things sooner.
It took me a long time to figure this out and I have only figured our 30% of it for myself.
But what I have learned about what I really is that family matters the most. My kids and my wife specifically.
Exploration and adventure matters.
Personal growth matters.
Health matters.
And so I build my business and work around what I realised matters the most.
Because it used to be that my life was around my work.
Now I can work from anywhere, earn an abundant income, and a I choose my hours.
We are off to Japan in December.
I get to do really interesting and exciting things in business.
I get to help a lot of people
I get to help myself and my family.
And I can do this, because I started to ask better questions.
How can I make lots of money became, how can I have a business that serves my lifestyle..
How do I not work so much, became how can I build a business in such a way that my work comes with me, I am in control of it and I enjoy it.
