It’s a waste not to analyse and store relevant information, even if at the moment you don’t have the budget necessary to make moves on the data and the message it tells you.
Do you have a website? Then are you tracking Google’s data with Google Analytics? Are you seeing which market segments in which countries, age groups, frequency and duration of visits are interacting with your business?
Are you following up with your customers to make them repeat customers and build up a sustainable long term relationship? Are you looking at your opportunities to do this through email, social media, phone, physical mail/content?
Are you even aware of all digital tools that make sense for your business, and even aware of the landscape even if you’re not participating in all areas valuable for your business development and growth?
If the answer to any of these is no then you’re probably not doing enough research about the current marketplace and the ways to conquer it in 2022. If you’re happy with your business and not looking for growth or new customers you might get away with it, but if you want to grow or even keep up with the competitive landscape and big changes in most industries I highly recommend exploring or informing yourself about digital free and paid options as they’ll generate interesting returns for you.
