Are You Dialed into Your Purpose?

A coworker of mine said to our group, "God shows us that our dependence on Him is more important than a sale, a marketing strategy, a plan, etc. It’s tuning into His station and not moving the dial." And it really spoke to me.

I often have a hard time dialing in because I listen too much to the static or noise around me—what others have to say, how much money I'm making, my performance level, all the more.

However, the times that I received the most clarity and quite frankly joy in my life was when I really fell in love with The Lord and had His truth ignite the embers within me and guide my purpose.

A few weeks ago, I was downright struggling. I literally cried to my parents, friends, coworkers, and business development coach telling them:

"I feel so alone in this"

"Should I lower my coaching prices?"

"I'm not making enough money"

"How am I going to afford rent?"

"I just want to give up"

"I can't make a sale to save my life"

I can't thank them enough for how much they supported me in that moment—how much relief they provided while reminding me of my worth. BUT what truly redirected me was what God had to say. He told me:

"SERVE AUTHENTICALLY, and the rest will come—the people, the money, your travel dreams…the rest will come"

This really got me thinking...How can I serve authentically in what I do?

• How can I make the sales process more about the client and their needs rather than the money I'd be getting from it?
• How can I make content that will really move people through a tough time and stomp on the Devil's temptations and burdens he's pressing on us?
• Who can I connect with and really inspire them and help them move closer to what The Lord has designed for them?
• How can I become a student of the career coaching and consulting field as well as my clients?
• How can I help answer the prayers of those who have been seeking deliverance and comfort for so many weeks or months on end?
• How can I best serve the people and things around me so that I can make a difference in this world?

I can’t tell you how important it is to check in with The Lord and see if you’re dialed into what He wants for you and what He has in store for you. Allow Him to guide your next step, especially when the static and noise makes it hard for you to see or hear what’s ahead.

Don’t lose sight of your why. Don’t lose sight of your worth and your purpose. Don’t lose sight of you and your mission on this earth.

You are a daughter or son of God, and I pray that He provides you the comfort and solace that you need in times of despair and elevates you in times of pure essence. I pray that He delivers you from the naysayers or people who tell you that you’re not good enough or that you’re a piece of (you know what).

Buckle up, and get ready to dig deep, dive in, and tune into that station. It’s a station for you and only you to broadcast and show to the world the gifts that The Lord is ready for you to unlock.

Get after it, and don’t give up ?
