YOU CRACK ME UP

YOU CRACK ME UP

All the talk this past week has been about the WACA pitch and if it's flat or will it be it's traditional bouncy self.

If you look at last years pitch the cracks certainly aren't anywhere near where they famously have been. There are photos of people with their entire hand inside the cracks and balls perched precariously on the edge of a plate.

Cracks themselves aren't an issue per se and it's a normal expected and planned for event for the Curators. It's only when they go horizontal across the pitch that they get dangerous with balls keeping low or worse rising sharply.

It's going to be very interesting to see tomorrow what pitch we play on and if the cracks will or won't be a factor for this Ashes Test match!
