You Could Be So Much More

Sometimes awakenings some fast and sometimes they come slow. However, being on the right path or a rebel, like in the article I posted, wakes you up to the possibility that you have so much to offer the world that you are failing yourself or your own potential.
It also helps that when you are in challenging times, that you have the right people in your corner. I haven't wanted to write about my journey in a long time but it's an outlet and it lets people know how the world is changing.
I went to Microsoft Azure conference recently and did you realize that software, data development and storage is evolving at the pace of a significant change every six months. That data analysis could change the ways most businesses sell their products because they will have more information on their buyers. The companies and industries that are successful at getting in on these fast changes are a part of the blue ocean movement which was explained in a recent Forbes article that I read.
People and local businesses cannot be stuck in past tense thinking. Those business strategies fail in the modern world. People expect flexibility and value their work-life balance to be in balance, not to have to give up their health and home life for the sake of the job.
So in answer to the question that I have been asked several times in recent weeks, "Why are stuck where you are? You could be so much more."
The answer is: "You are right." I can be and am. I have taken 3 online classes since the Azure workshop. I found out that I am really good at data analysis. I think that comes from having to analyze data in antiquated ways for the last 20 years. I also found that since I read a lot about how the world and software development and storage is changing that I am at a place where I can initiate my life to be whatever I want to be.
So cheers to me for keeping my life open to change and being that person that is so much more.
