Let me apologize for not putting out an article sooner.?Sometimes, we all find ourselves so busy we forget to stop and do the things we enjoy.?And for me that’s writing these articles.?They are important to me, because they allow me to share the things I have learned along my journey.?Which brings me to todays article.?Are you continuing your education?
First off, if your response is “But I already have my Doctorate in Hot Air Balloons, I don’t need any further education”.?First off, you can never have enough education.?Second, education does not always have to be formal, or in a formal setting.?What I am referring to is should you find yourself receiving a new tasking from your Team Leader or Supervisor, take it upon yourself to do some additional research.?Grab a book (or if you’re not a book person, grab the old tablet), google an article, watch a youtube video (FYI, I read an article about 10 years ago about a woman that built her house from watching youtube videos from start to finish, now that’s is self-educating and outside the box), you may even have an organizational education program.?If that is the case, take advantage of it.
The point being, never stop learning.?Become the subject matter expert if possible, and if nothing else make your job easier by seeking out learning opportunities.?This positive growth also shows your leadership, that you are a go getter.?And go getters are often rewarded.?The first reward in learning though is the education you received.?The second is the growth experienced.?The third, will be the positive things that follow.

My challenge to you dear reader is if you have a difficult task in your life wherein learning would make it easier, then I challenge you to set aside 10 minutes a day to learn about it.?Think about it, 10 minutes a day for a work week, that's 50 minutes a week, almost 4 hours a month.?If you invested that time, initially towards understanding your problem or challenging assignment do you think it would still be as challenging? And, the next time the same challenge or assignment comes around, you will embrace it with a new outlook versus cringing in fear or anxiety. Until next time friends. ?
