Will you commit?

It’s really hard sticking with something tough over an extended period of time. It takes willpower when you’re trying to be the best at ANYTHING. There can be no giving in. No compromises. You must be ALL IN to be your best. And that takes willpower. There are two parts to building willpower:

The first is to eat and sleep well. If you’re well rested and eat well, you have a much better chance of sticking with something (AKA willpower). Your mind will be clear and your body nourished. No distractions.

The other component to building willpower is ensuring you have your “why” top of mind.

Make sure you know exactly why you show up every day, why you put in extra hours, and why you keep trying long after others have given up. Maybe it’s family, a new home, paying off debt. Everyone’s why is different. Get crystal clear on what you’re going after, why you’re doing it, and don’t stop until you’ve achieved it.

In making important decisions you need all the strength and stamina to make those decisions and keep going. Physically and mentally, you need to “get in the ring” ready to go.

And the surest way to do that is to make sure you have iron-clad willpower.

A strong body and mind, coupled with a total focus on what you want, enables accomplishment.

So, here’s your Action Item and mission, should you decide to accept it; Every day this week:

  1. Get eight hours of good, restful sleep and eat good, healthy meals.
  2. Take some alone time, if needed, and zero in on your why.

With a calm, clear, and energized body and mind you’ll be more determined and you’ll start to see more positive outcomes. Build your willpower. You, your family, and your business will absolutely be better off.
