Are you in a chokehold?

Are you in a chokehold?

I've never had this real-life experience fortunately in my personal life but I have been around someone who was once choking. It's a horrible experience when you see them grasping for every bit of life, tugging at their chest from whatever has lodged itself in between the small gaps of life and death. Nothing at that moment matters... all you can see in their eyes is desperation, help, and a feeling of hopelessness.

Now I didn't want to start this article in such a gruesome way but as I look out at some of the habits of the business world now, I can't help but to see the same incident. Companies, executives, and employees reaching for any and everything that can bring them out of business death. Screaming for anyone to believe in their product, test out their service or invest in their idea. Granted not all are in this state of desperation so publicly, but many of us are living secretly in a choke hold. Going to bed many nights thinking about our workday, what still needs to take place tomorrow, what meetings went well and didn't and of course the list of tasks still unfinished just waiting for us when we emerge. I've even seen it in the subtitles of conversation when I've personally experienced a company who we've helped for many years who benefited from more than just our services but also our expertise and sheer belief in their work. And then when times felt uncertain, desperation set in and they quickly grabbed a lifeline and sought after more than what was agreed upon. Soon after threats masaquared with desperation spewed from their mouths all due to the nature of scarcity thinking.

I've too been in that place...even here in LinkedIn. Seeing 'recommendations' that say if I create this newsletter and set a frequency of daily that my readers will get confused if I suddenly change it to weekly. The pressure of something as simple as sharing your own thoughts for the benefit of your readers suddenly brought me in panic mode since I haven't followed the 'rules'. It's no wonder that mental health awareness is at an all time high.... these rules in life are slowly killing us.

But if you know anything about me, I don't stay in low vibration or negative energy for more than a few minutes... there is always light at the end, middle and beginning of the tunnel. When reading about neuroscience just recently in preparation for some exciting new initiatives soon to be announced through my firm, I was reminded about something soooo freakin' awesome!!! In our bodies we have approximately 30 trillion cells...can you imagine? Trillions of energy filled little people, so to speak, working in our favor to achieve what we set out to do. Trillions of powerful beacons of light that can heal, create and evolve with only a bit of attention and intentionality. So really the question is, 'If you knew that you had trillions of workers investigating, analyzing, developing, executing and monitoring your business or sector, would you not feel at peace knowing everything is being taken care of?'

It's really simple: Relax. Reset. Realign. Yes there will always be rules or regulations to consider and trends to analyze. But at the end of the day you have the most powerful weapon that no AI tool can replace or competitor outshine. You have your own power backed by trillions of capable energies just ready to create the reality you desire. So break loose from that chokehold that has kept you in a place of desperation, depression, or despair and embrace the greatest thing that has ever walked this earth... YOU.
