If you carry the trouble, it grows double

If you carry the trouble, it grows double

A perfect life is without any problems, but it is for sure so boring and dull. Problems balance your mind; they give it a direction to think to act. Our mind is such restless that no aim or objective in life will make it erratic. Now what next? Boredom and nothing exciting happening in life. What's left in my life? and what next? Problems balance it for sure. There's a limit of how much you enjoy your privileges, and the limit is too short, and you start getting bored and irritated of those privileges; they lose all meaning.

You don't know why to wake up tomorrow? And then you surround yourself with temporary highs and pleasures, like alcohol, drugs, casual sex etc, which further degrade your life. Problems are the cure; cure to fickle mindedness. They channelise your mind and energy towards that one issue. You think about it, curse your fate, plan to deal with it, you act towards it, you practise self-pity, you may succeed or fail, but you know what to do. You know, what's urgent, important in life, you don't have a choice to wander freely and activate devil mode of your mind.

For example, being with many elderly people for years, I made one observation. When you become free of most responsibilities, you have a retired life, the problems and issues of ordinary life are sorted, you start focusing more on the problems of your body, a minor pain may bother you much more than before, you would start observing almost non-existent symptoms and overthink about them. It's true that our body faces issues with age, but I am pointing out this beyond the scope of that truth. We create problems or exaggerate them because we don't have relevant problems to deal with.

I know one person who became an alcoholic after getting a sudden inheritance. He had no struggles and hence no direction in life. I know many people who live a relatively hard life; they do physical work for hours and hours each day, just to manage survival. It's not that they don't crib, but they are relatively happy and engaged in life, they stay engaged in their issues, work, and routine, and on the contrary, I know some really rich people, who have lost all direction in life, they hop from one party to the other all day, enjoy alcohol and drugs, and are depressed and directionless.

Of course this also depends from person to person and cannot be considered as a fact of life but a general opinion. Life is like countless crossroads, and you standing confused in between where to go where not to go; problems give you a direction to walk, “look, this is urgent, walk here first,” and yes, walking does bother you, but what else shall a human do?”A perfect life is a dull life, a meaningless tale of existence. Respect your problems.

Remember that change is only constant in life and there is no sunrise without sunset, no day without night, no happiness without sadness, no vacations without hard work (paychecks), no success without failure, Problems are a part and parcel of life, but nothing is permanent in life. For every end, there is a new beginning. Life is a series of problem-solving opportunities. The problems you face will either defeat you or develop you - depending on how you respond to them.

Unfortunately, most people fail to see how God wants to use problems for good in their lives. They react foolishly and resent their problems rather than pausing to consider what benefit they might bring. Here are some ways God wants to use the problems in your life: God uses problems to direct you - Sometimes God must light a fire under you to get you moving. Problems often point us in a new direction and motivate us to change. Is God trying to get your attention? "Sometimes it takes a painful situation to make us change our ways."

God uses problems to inspect you - People are like teabags if you want to know what's inside them, just drop them into hot water! Has God ever tested your faith with a problem? What do problems reveal about you? God uses problems to correct you - Some lessons we learn only through pain and failure. It's likely that as a child your parents told you not to touch a hot stove. But you probably learned by being burned. Sometimes we only learn the value of something - health, money, a relationship - by losing it.

God uses problems to protect you - A problem can be a blessing in disguise if it prevents you from being harmed by something more serious. Last year a friend of mine was fired for refusing to do something unethical that his boss asked him to do. His unemployment was a problem - but it saved him from being convicted and sent to prison a year later when his boss actions were uncovered. God uses problems to perfect you. - Problems, when responded to correctly, are character builders. God is far more interested in your character than your comfort. Your relationship to God and your character are the only two things you're going to take with you into eternity.

Here's the point: God is at work in your life - even when you do not recognize it or understand it. But it's much easier and profitable when you cooperate with Him! After solving one problem, you create some other problems. Only the quality of the problem changes. Even Warren Buffet has problems related to money, but his problems are better than the problems of a common man.

Example : To solve the problems related to your health, you buy a gym membership. And in turn you add the problems of getting up early, sweating heavily on a treadmill. Happiness comes from solving problems not from not having them. The solution to the today's problem lays foundations to tomorrow's problems. This is a constant work in progress. So face your problems, solve them, don't hide from them. Cheers!
