You Can't Work Your Way To Heaven.

We've all heard the phrase..."I should get an A for effort". The truth is...most teachers only give C's for effort. This is especially true when the requirements for the assignment have been clearly spelled out beforehand.
Ephesians 2:8-9 (good new bible) For it is by God's grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God's gift, so that no one can boast about it.
You could give millions to the poor. You could attend church every time the doors open. You could pray every night and read your bible every day...but unless you have confessed Christ as Lord...you are doing "C" work at best. Just Receive Grace...Just Do It.

7 年There is a big difference, though, in saying you believe and then acting out that belief. If you don't walk out the belief, saying believe mean nothing.
