You can’t scale up an empty air

In order to scale up a business you have to have a business.

In order to scale up anything you do - you have to have some basis. Very few is ready to hear that, or accept it. Why? Because it gives a reality check: “before you get to shine bright like a superstar, you have to INVEST - money, time, effort, and all other resources you have and don’t have.”

You have to experiment and be creative, you have to fail, learn from mistakes and restart, and sometimes reshape everything or part of what you do.

You do not build a house starting from 3rd floor. You build a house from some kind of foundation.Then why so many has an illusion to get a million dollar business the next day after starting it or getting first client?

For someone it’s a common feeling during the hype of momentum - you just started your own business, service line, small production and you feel INVINCIBLE. Like all the universe waited for you to appear on stage so they can finally buy from you what you offer, they can finally be a client to someone truly amazing. And this momentum gives you a feeling that just in few seconds people will stand in lines to get your product or services.

Well it can be the case.. but with few prerequisites - you have to INVEST, you have to build the foundation first.

Definitely you have to have a hype over your product or service, but with some dose of reality - with being a fan of yourself and your business is not enough. To have clients and scale your business - THEY have to have a hype over your service or product.

And be wise to choose your idols you are aiming to be like, or at least be crystal clear to differentiate their 100-story building to your 2-story house. Resist the urge to compare and beat yourself up about not being there. YET.

Get inspiration and continue building your house.

Don’t start scaling up an empty air by looking at other’s accomplishments.

You have your own way, own challenges and own victories.

You can scale up to 100-story building (if you want), but first you have to have those 99 levels finished.
