You Can’t Read the Label when You’re Inside the Jar
If you think you have tried everything, and still it’s not working or getting any better - I would just say you need some help.
I was working with this client for the last few months who runs a store selling stuffs to gardeners. They hit the ceiling when it comes to scaling their business using all forms of marketing, they said.
The more they spend, the less profit they were making...
The first thing I noticed when I had a call with their team, and later looking at their numbers is that there were a lot of leaky buckets in their sales process.
Yes, literally Leaky Buckets.
The majority of the visitors come to their site leaves without making a sale, and they did nothing about following up.
They had great products, very competitive pricing, great after-sales support, and whatnot.
What they didn’t have was a system - that capitalizes all visitors coming in, and segmenting them, understanding what actions they have taken.
And then.. following up from where they left of.
When we started to work with them - our focus was to fix these leaks.
We built a system that Filters/Segments the right audiences, then a system that builds a bond with the visitors, nurturing them, making them ready for a sale.
And most importantly, showing them additional products that will enhance their experience using the products in the forms of upsells and cross-sells.
We scaled the business from $200k per month in March to $1.024 million in September.
As a business owner, you are often stuck in the jar. You need some help to identify what’s that 20% of activities that are driving 80% of the sales, and then focus on just that.
You need to make sure all of those small parts in your business that use to work on its own, work together as a system.
Also, look at what you have, and try to find the strength it is, and use it to build momentum.
There is one thing that often you overlook in your business. If you nail that, it will give you 30% more revenue at the highest ROI. Ask me what.. in my next post I will share what it is.
