You can’t have a rainbow without a little rain
The deeper meaning has to do with the seven chakras each of which has a characteristic sound, color, number of petals and spiritual quality.
Let’s talk about the idiomatic expression. Actually, the rain symbolizes pain/despair/sadness and the rainbow symbolizes happiness.
So, the actual idiom says, “You can’t get happiness without getting a little pain”.
Now let us talk about the scientific phenomenon.
This is actually known as a circumhorizontal arc. It is caused by light passing through wispy, high-altitude cirrus clouds. The sight occurs only when the sun is very high in the sky.
Is it a luck to see a rainbow?
It’s as “lucky” as a four-leaf clover, rabbit’s foot, the number 7, lucky bamboo and many more.
People aren't born lucky or unlucky. In fact, good luck is the result of the right attitude.
So have the right attitude towards life and you’ll be lucky most of the time.
Lucky charms can affect your attitude and can be a lot of fun
The hexagonal ice crystals that make up cirrus clouds must be shaped like thick plates with their faces parallel to the ground.
When light enters through a vertical side face of such an ice crystal and leaves from the bottom face, it refracts, or bends, in the same way that light passes through a prism.
If a cirrus’s crystals are aligned just right, the whole cloud lights up in a spectrum of colors.” In simple language, the refraction is caused by ice crystals and water droplets and also clouds that let light pass from them (actually clouds are translucent).
To get the answer, the red color at the bottom of the rainbow signifies rather the base qualities of a angry person. Thus, the one full of anger is said to be loaded with red Sanskar.
Now these are very difficult to overcome.
Similar is the case with greed and lust.
As the soul gradually overcomes these Red Sanskar, and journeys towards higher levels of consciousness such as the subtle and mental consciousness, the colors change gradually into blue.
Thus, the individual with higher level of consciousness and is not burdened with gross impressions, reach the pinnacle of spirituality which is God realization.
The best answer has to be, “what does it mean to you?”
Why does it have to be an objective answer that we all agree upon?
Couldn’t it just be a sign that between you and your grandpa?
No need to find confirmation on the outside for what your heart already knows is true on the inside.
Signs are there for you, you know very well what they mean, if only you can give yourself to accept it.

Thank you?…. So, if you see a rainbow come down in the middle of a field, then yes you can go to where the rainbow is at that time, but it won’t be there when you get there, it’ll be the same distance away as it was when you first saw it.
But if you want to go and stand in the multi-colored rays of the rainbow, then no, a rainbow is an optical effect and the person next to you will see the rainbow in a different place to you because its position is relative to your position.

It means you went to a psychic, and she wanted to say something nice to you.
Everybody’s aura has all the rainbow colors, as you have 7 chakras related to rainbow colors, but typically one or two colors are predominant. It also changes depending on your mood, physical activity or relaxation, sleep or awake etc.
?If you have all 7 colors in the same proportion - you have very balanced chakra system, but it is pretty rare, most people have the main color or 2–3 colors, not all of them at once.
Can birds see rainbows?
Since many birds are tetrachromats, they wonder if you, a relatively colorblind human, can appreciate the array of colors in a rainbow. You can't even see ultraviolet.
As you can see, the bird has four colors of cones that are more evenly distributed and suitable for sensing color than human cones. The human S cone is actually sensitive to UV, but the human lens blocks UV so that it does not get to the retina.?
Do you want to add a word or two?
Can birds see through glass?
Yes, and that is one of the (many) causes of bird-strikes on house windows. The bird sees through the window, and through another window on the other side of the house and thinks it can fly through the house.
The double rainbow is seen to represent heaven and earth, acting as a bridge between two worlds. In Eastern cultures too, the double rainbow is believed as a sign of good fortune, luck, and prosperity.
I have had red, green color blindness which means I can misidentify those colors. When I look at a rainbow, I can see colors, but not as well as normal vision people.
Yellow stands out, I can see purplish blue, a hint of red.
Red tends to look orange to me in rainbows. I don't see green. It blends with the other colors. I often misidentify certain car colors. If they are in low lighting or the shade, I might see them incorrectly.
Your Comments……
I used to play a board game and had a hard time telling the difference between the brown and green pieces. That was when I was young and didn't know I was colorblind.
To be clear, I can see red and green, but not all shades of them. And lighting can affect how I see things.
I walked out to find that beautiful, fat raindrop rain happening, but the sun was out to the west.
I knew there'd be a rainbow, so I turned around to look for it, knowing it’s always opposite the sun, and WHOOOOOOOAAAA!!!!!
There it was a perfect curve over the field across the street from me. I could see it, end to end. It was perfect.
I had to go to work, so I hopped in the car and began to drive. The rainbow’s end had looked so close to me, I kept slowing down to check where it was.
I take backroads to a highway and was curving about. I came to a yard, where it looked like the rainbow should end. I was laughing about the pot of gold. No… no pot.
Supposedly there is supposed to be a color I can see that normal vision people can't see. My eyes process the colors differently. And I've heard, but can't confirm, that color blind people can often see in the dark better since our eyes don't try to seek out as many colors in dim light.

2 年Throughout history, humans have extremely interested in rainbows. Children’s stories talk about the “end of the rainbow”, where a pot of gold resides, waiting for a lucky individual. The rainbow has also been the center of songs, poems, and a multitude of stories derived from ancient cultures. Rainbows are not physical objects; rather, they are the result of light refraction from tiny water droplets (which is why we can see them most clearly after rain). There are two conditions that must all be true in order for the rainbow to form; that is, 1) the sun must be shining and behind you and 2) there must be water droplets in the air in front of you.? A rainbow is normally viewed as a half-circle in the sky, with red as the uppermost color and violet as the lowermost. However, looking at a rainbow from above, it is possible to tell that it is actually a circular arc in the sky.
