You Can't Fail at Life

Today we are going to clear up a few things about the word Fail and Failure. The fact is you can't fail at LIFE, because Life isn't about Pass and Fail. This misconception comes from our inaccurate conditioning we have on why we really set goals or why our brain sets goals. 

Why does our brain set goals? Do you want the BIGGER PICTURE? 

The only reason our brain sets goals is to propel us into life, so we can learn and grow and pass this onto the next generation, so our species survives and thrives. 

The misconception we have about goals is that we have to achieve them or we have failed! Some other misconceptions are that our goals will make us happy and that they have to be big, with small ones going unnoticed. We were conditioned this way!! When we were good we were rewarded, when we were bad we were punished and we realised that we had to do certain things to be Worthy or Lovable in this life. So we set goals to achieve so that we attain this Self Worth. We keep trying and trying to achieve these so we are worthy on this planet. 

We don't need to do anything to be Worthy on this planet. We are alive, so we are 100% Worthy, no matter what happens. Our Worth is in our automatic contribution to life (good or bad). Just the fact that we are here, we are connecting with others and they are learning from us.

Having said all this, I want you to know that there is absolutely nothing wrong with setting goals. Goals are importand as long as you have an accurate understanding on why you set them. You cannot have your Self Worth attached to your goals, as when you do it causes the misconception that you can pass or fail. This is because when you get your goal you feel like you achieved it and you are Worthy and when you don't get your goal, you feel like you are failing or are a Failure.

When we understand that we don't have to achieve our goals to be Worthy, this leads us to the quote, "Life is a journey, not a destination." It is not achieving the goal that matters, it is all the small goals, learning and growth along the way that develops us. We then pass this along to the next generation and our species hopefully thrives and survives.

When we don't have to worry about achieving our goals, setting goals can be one big brainstorm, because we know it is a win win situation. When we achieve our goal, great! When we don't, we learn something! Woohoo!! Away drops the fear and the tension.

When we don't get our goal, we learn from it and if we really want that goal, we may need to adjust our direction to get there. Just don't give up on your dreams. :-)
