YOU CAN’T EAT AN ELEPHANT AT A GO!

Imagine you’ve just won the National Eating Competition.?
You have beaten others to it by eating 15 plates of jollof rice, 20 balls of banku, 3 bowls of fufu, 5 full chicken, and topped it up with 10 plates of veggies.?
For your prize, you were, among others, awarded a plaque with the inscription “The Nation’s Appetite.”?
It confirms your unmatched and incomparable appetite whose true reflection you have exhibited—you can eat! ?
But, regardless of this achievement, your appetite and your strength to challenge any bite and win can’t help you eat an elephant at a go.?
The elephant is a big animal and full of meat. To fully consume its meat will be daunting, and the strategy cannot be to do so at a go and in a day.?
Ultimately, the aim can be to eat it, but with time and so should your dreams be.?
Your dreams must be big, scary, and challenging. They must be one you can’t accomplish in a day or at a go.
They must be huge and real, like an elephant.?
Regardless, they should be goals that can be achieved with time, dedication, and focus, like eating an elephant.
So, no matter how big (elephant or not) your dreams are, don’t attempt getting (eating) them done at a go. It’s never possible, notwithstanding your drive and appetite.?
Learn to bite off the elephant (achieve your dreams) in pieces, and with time, your true character as an achiever will emerge.
You can be a hero for having eaten an elephant but never at a go.?
