“You can’t comment on that subject”

“You can’t comment on that subject”, some numpty told me the other day on my post about a contentious subject.
I can.
I just did!
The irony of course, that I enjoyed pointing out to him, was that HE was commenting on the subject matter that he told me that I couldn’t!
I can comment on anything I deem fit to share!
Some topics are controversial, some not, all are interesting in varying degrees, that's why I share them with you.
But I can literally comment on anything that I wish as long as it’s within Singapore’s defamation laws and I feel it worthy of sharing to you.
This is especially true if someone else has publicised something that I don’t agree with.
They have made it public.
Therefore anyone can comment on it.
If they didn’t want people to comment on it then they should not have made it public.
Sometimes I comment on topics that I find out by my extensive networking while keeping my sources confidential and as long as I can stack it up and again within Singapore’s laws, I can literally talk about anything on here.
It’s such a strange thing to say that I can’t talk about this or that.
Why not?
Who was this muppet to tell me what I could and could not talk about?
It’s my feed, I curate it, I can do what I like with it.
The data, the comments, the views, the engagement from you, will tell me whether that topic is interesting to you or not.
Nothing else matters other than my desire to create content that is thought provoking, polarising, on views that other people are thinking but don’t say, are interesting, create debate and are of value to you.
That’s it, that’s all that matters.
If only ONE person comments then that’s enough for me, that’s value that I have given.
So no I won’t stop commenting on any subject and like I told this numpty, if you don’t like, don’t follow me, block me, do whatever you want but don’t tell me what to write about on my own feed.
What do you think?
