No, You Can't Buy Back Your Time
Charles Alexander
I coach the Time Freedom Community for entrepreneurs and busy professionals who want to work on their business instead of in it so they can finally enjoy the freedom they deserve!
I loved the book, Buy Back Your Time.
It's written by Dan Martell, a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) coach.
Essentially, he says?it’s not about working harder or finding more time to do work. It’s about designing the freedom to engage in the high-value work that brings you energy and fulfillment.?
You know, the same thing the rest of us know-it-all coaches say
The reason I say you can't buy back your time, is simple.
Most of the entrepreneurs I work with have some delusional idea that if they work a little harder and make a little more money, they will finally hit some elusive time freedom goal that will make them happy.
They are trying to "buy more time" by "spending more time."
It's like some Ponzi scheme that you can never win.
Most folks, from CEOs to entry-level employees, struggle with the elusive goal of "buying back time".
Time management should really be about focus, not getting more done.
That's why I recorded this super short, but "focused" podcast episode.

Key Takeaways:
1. True time management is less about managing time and more about managing focus.
2. Effective delegation and tool selection are crucial for reclaiming time.
3. Time block scheduling is useful, but as G.I. Joe said, it's only half the battle. And if you watched?G.I. Joe as a kid, you know the other half of the battle was red and blue lasers

Sarah George, Connective Consulting?- ?"Not only am I down to four days a week, but sometimes it's three and a half! ?I'm not only running a business. I'm a busy mom. I have two children that keep me on the go. So it is important to me to be able to schedule time for their activities, maintain a household, and still build a successful business."
