You Can Still Help Fight Cancer

This summer marks the 22nd year that the Dream Team and I are participating in the Relay for Life. Through your generosity, we have been able to raise over $140,000 during the past 21 years. That's amazing! 

Why do I raise money for cancer every year? Because I see the difference that research has made. During the past two decades treatments have improved and so many people have survived, but the odds of getting cancer are staggering. One in three Americans will develop some kind of cancer in their lifetime, which means that virtually all of us will be affected in some way. That’s why I continue to participate each year in this community-based event.

Thanks to individual donors like you, researchers and medical professionals have made huge strides in this fight. There are more than 15.5 million cancer survivors nationwide, which is very encouraging, but we cannot stop now. That is why I am asking for your support. The funds we collect help sustain cancer patient programs and groundbreaking research that can help save lives.
