You Can Stay on LinkedIn?

It's common knowledge that Social Media platforms do not like you adding External links to your content as these will take visitors off their platform over to wherever the link is leading.

For example, adding a YouTube or a Vimeo link to your post on LinkedIn will redirect visitors to those platforms and reduce the time the visitor spends on LinkedIn.

Doing this reduces the amount of eyes on their revenue generating adverts and often results in your post being *demoted.

However, LinkedIn Articles have given us a valid workaround, in that you can embed numerous snippets from other sites without ever leaving the platform or negatively affecting your reach.
