You Can Be Resilient and Still Require Rest

When was the last time you took time to rest?
I’m not talking about sleeping, or sitting to watch a show while scrolling your phone.
I’m talking about time to truly, stop and do something that feels peaceful. Like a massage, or a day in a hammock reading a novel too good to put down.
I know you have kids, deadlines, laundry and goals you want to accomplish.
But you can be resilient, amazing, and successful and still require rest.
I think part of the problem is that we feel guilty resting.
We know we should rest.
But why should we relax when we could be doing something REAL instead…
Let me give you a gentle reminder of something very important:
It is essential to give your mind and body a chance to rest and reset.
We need the chance to fill back up so we are ready for the next burst of creativity, productivity and success.

I agree Gina, most people get stuck in do do mode. We are more productive and efficient when we combine short breaks in our schedule
