Hey friend,

Have you ever heard that phrase:

“You can’t have your cake and eat it”

Always seemed a bit unfair, I bought the darn Victoria Sponge why can’t I fill my face with it?

As someone more cultured than me you probably know it’s nothing to do with cake.

It has to do with expectation.

Can we expect more?

In business it can feel like there are warring factions we wrestle with.

Money OR Meaning OR Mojo.

?? You can’t possible make good money and feel fulfilled, right?

?? You can’t do meaningful work outside of a charity right?

?? You can’t love your work and still make top dollar?

?? You can’t earn great cash and help people?


I’m here to say - yes.

Yes you can.

You can have all the gosh darn cake you want.

Buy it, eat it, smear it on your chops.

In and around your mouth.

It’s what I did when I first launched into this consulting gig.

I want the same for you.

It’s what I call Commercial Discipleship??

It’s really very simple.

BE - Commit to be who God called you to be - Body, Mind & Soul

DO - Commit to taking your God-given skills to serve a person & solve a problem.

HAVE - Commit to a high margin recurring offer where you are paid for your counsel.

Money & Meaning & Mojo can be found in the service of others.

People are already paying for leadership - Why not be the one to answer that call?

You don’t need to throw your current business away - don’t break what’s not working right?

You just need to build or refine a Commercial Discipleship?? offer that lights you the heck up.


Here is a step by step map of where to start:

?? STEP 1 - Get Counsel.

To disciple we must first be disciples.

That is to say we get to lead others when we allow ourselves to be led - by God, by a coach, by counsel.

?? STEP 2 - Get clear.

Spend some time unpacking your expertise (your IP).

Scope out who a person is you could help with a problem they need solving.

Three criteria for this are as follows:

BUDDIES - People you are close to or have readily available access to.

BUDGET - People who have cash and would be willing to spend.

BURNING NEED - People with a problem they are keen to solve.

?? STEP 3 - Get an offer.

Build a Beta offer you can trial with a small group, help them, learn, get great reviews.

It’s like paid market research.

There are 4 potential ways to package it:

Memberships - You build a community around a common cause

Retainers - You provide 1-2-1 coaching or consulting

Partners - You forge a strategic partnership.

Credits - You train others to do what you do.

??STEP 4 - Stuff your face on Cake

Take what you have and change the world.

Structure it as an offer to bring in 20K minimum or 25% growth to what you've got.

You have something the world needs.

You give it them and feel fulfilled.

You get paid well for doing it.

An old proverb says it like this:

“Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act”

???? Always be looking for opportunity to take action, even when circumstances suck.

A client of mine this week signed two new clients - both on MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue).

What did we do?

#1 - Celebrate - So rarely business owners actually stop to thank God and feeeel the win

#2 - Commit - We reviewed targets and kept going.? Harness the momentum of a win to score more.

Q: How are you finding ways to consistently celebrate wins??

It is the best psychology hack there is.
