YOU CAN HAVE IT ALL

YOU CAN HAVE IT ALL

As I sit in my workspace writing to you this beautiful evening, nostalgia washes over me, taking me back to my cherished childhood days. I was 9 or 10 at the time, we had this mini banana garden at our backyard.

This spot was my sanctuary, where I could lose myself in play and endless daydreams. ?

I could stay there all day playing with sand, cooking with banana leaves and doing all those fun children activities sometimes with friends but most times alone.

Enjoying my person hood has been something I grew up to love and enjoy ; I guess that has contributed a great deal to my introverted nature.

I remember hearing adults around me saying that you can't have it all—a beautiful home, a loving man, the partner of your dreams, and a life filled with love and the most beautiful things.

But I never accepted this notion; my mind vehemently rejected such limiting beliefs. Even as a young girl, I firmly believed that I could attain anything I desired, unhindered by anyone or anything. I possessed an unwavering positive mindset from a young age. Thanks to my parents and to a few good books I got exposed to at the time.

on becoming a teenager, I remember an incidence that occurred, one of the girls in my circle, said she had accepted her fate, believing she couldn't never have it all. She even said she didn't even desire a handsome man, fearing that other women would ?fight for his attention and take him away from her.

She said she wanted an "ugly" ?so she can enjoy her man all to herself.

Such a perspective did not sit well with me.

On the contrary, I said that I desired a man who was not only handsome but also God-fearing, kind, loving, teachable, and brilliantly intelligent. I continued to list the qualities I sought, while the other girls regarded me with disbelief and astonishment.

"Where on earth do you expect to find such a man?" they wondered.

But here's the twist: I am currently married to him. Admittedly, my husband may not possess all the qualities I listed that day, but he embodies the most vital ones and more.

What truly matters is that he is driven by personal growth and a desire to continuously improve all round. It is this characteristic that makes our relationship all the more meaningful and rewarding.

So let me tell you, dear sister, that you can indeed have it all.

By this, I mean you can find a partner who possesses the essential qualities necessary for a happy and fulfilling life. Do not compromise or lower your standards. There is someone out there who meets your expectations and exceeds them.

please believe this, because it all starts from your mindset.

At the same time, it is crucial to avoid setting unrealistic expectations. Stop searching for the perfect man, for he does not exist. And even if you were to stumble upon someone seemingly perfect, you might not be perfect yourself.

Your dreams, expectations, and desires are valid. Entrust them to the guidance of God, allowing the Holy Spirit to shape them in accordance with His ultimate plans for your life.

By doing so, you will undoubtedly find happiness and fulfillment along your journey.
