It was always a race to get the most features or the right features to compete and attract buyers. But it didn’t always work. And I kept wondering why. I soon found out why and spent the rest of my career focusing on this effort.
The problem with focusing only on features is that people don’t buy with their heads. They buy with their gut. They buy with their heart. And to appeal to their hearts, a company also needs to focus on building their brand. And I don’t mean just their logo. I mean their whole reputation.
