Where do you see yourself in 5 DAYS?
That's right! With the tools right at your fingertips, you can see your job search ROCKET in only 5 days time.
Here's what you do:
Day 1: Get Chat GPT and train it to be your personal content creator. Just ask it for a prompt and feed it back the same prompt. Update your LinkedIn profile, Resume, and any other online profile you use to find jobs. (Skip paying $1000's to resume writers...)
Day 2: Look for 10 companies you are interested in working for in your industry (unless you are changing industries.. that's another post). Research the SHIT out of them. What I like to say is: What would you say YES to? Make your list: Comp, Location (remote or not), scope of work. Research the group you will be working with on LinkedIn. Do they have recommendations? Are they good to work with according to their connections' posts? Interactions?

Day 3: Pull together your list of awesome managers from the companies you researched. STALK them. Just kidding. Begin following, liking and responding to their content. "The manager I picked doesn't post!" Move on. You want to work with people who will engage. Look for employees, don't stop at LinkedIn, look at Reddit, GitHub, Twitter or X- whatever lol.
Day 4: Keep responding and share a little about your own projects. Use GPT to help you create amazing content about your own professional interests. Become a thought leader in your industry. Use Midjourney to create some graphics for your posts.
Day 5: Embed yourself into your social feeds. Post, respond, and connect your way to a real live conversation! Check company sites for employee referral programs and mention them to employees who are getting to know you. They know you know your stuff!
Keep going for all of your companies and continue to expand. HR, Managers, Employees, etc. The world is at your fingertips!
