May 18, 2024 -- By now, unless you're living under a rock or just don't give a bleep about pop culture, hot topics or current events, then you've probably seen the CNN tape of rap (and recently fed-invaded) mogul Sean "P. Diddy" Combs abusing his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.
About Cassie Ventura.
Assuming the video hasn't made its way around the world, but I doubt it, here's a reference screenshot for your Googling pleasure.
“You Cain’t Cage A Bird” is a song that literally could have been written about a voyeur peering into Cassie Ventura's real life, as she, the struggling songbird, leaves an unstable life to go off with a very wealthy mogul.
She found herself mixed up in scenarios like the one above (see CNN tape), where she had no control over her own life.
As there are no happy endings or fairy-tales, she eventually realizes that she’s traded in her dreams of being a singer for material excess; and although designer "things" are lovely, the materialistic items never dimmed her intrinsic desire to share her gift of song with the world.
She sees herself as a bird in a cage and when the opportunity for freedom arises, she flies right of her real-life imprisoned castle that she’s been bound up in for so very long … watching the world go by. Finally able to fly away, she’s now free to sing for as long as she wants and for as loud as she wants.
This song, however, has a deeper meaning and that is, any of us from any walk of life can feel controlled or caged in, if we’re not allowed to pursue our dreams.
The message in this song is that it’s never too late to fly, to soar — to achieve a dream that may have been hidden, or even one that’s been worked on for decades.
For anyone who wants to be heard, whether in politics, as a school principal, as a motivational speaker or a television news broadcaster, keep striving. Work to escape the mental or physical incagement.
Keep trying, keep striving, keep flying onward and upward.

Here are the lyrics to my song. Read them over and you might agree that it seems like they were written for the Connecticut-born singer, actress and former model. It's almost as if I wrote the song about Ms. Ventura's ten-year long relationship with the multi, award-winning, music mogul.
Hey, wait a minute, perhaps I am prophetic! If so, can I prophesy my own destiny and become a billionaire like another beautiful and famous songbird -- Rihanna?
Well, it's not impossible, because it's never too late to fly off to freedom and make your indelible mark on the world. Cassie finally freed herself and now appears to be soaring. Clearly she's having a concrete impact here, and around the world.
Cassie's new life with husband, Alex Fine and her children.
Thanks for your time!
