Are you ??BURNED OUT?? with painting?

Let’s be honest with each other Friend… When you’ve done anything for 5, 10, 20 or 30 years – it can get boring and frustrating.
Next thing you know, you’ve lost your motivation and drive in the business. You may even be “resentful” about running your painting business in 2025.
This is a serious problem. Why?
Because this “thing” that’s lost your interest is also the “thing” that…
Your business, next to your family & faith, is likely the WORST thing to get “burned out” on – but you probably know this already (or at least feel it.)
So, how do you rekindle that desire to grow and improve? How can you recapture the feeling you had when you FIRST started your painting business?
I have 4 highly practical suggestions…
1 - Rediscover Your “WHY” & Your “WHO”: Let me ask you this: WHY did you start your painting business in the first place and WHO were you trying to help? Chances are, you wanted more money & freedom (WHY) for your family (WHO).
Have these things become unimportant to you? Of course not! Now, you’ve got a great head start. Your painting business is already off the ground (not starting from scratch). Can you build on that? YES you can!
2 - See What’s Possible (not What's Past): So many painters have convinced themselves they’ve chosen a bad industry or market. That there NO WAY anyone could be wealthy and fulfilled through painting. Many conversations in painter Facebook groups and around the paint store coffee pot are toxic and reinforce this untrue view.
How many TRULY successful painters do you know right now? Are you leaning on them for support and direction? Or are you listening to the painters who have already given up hope?
3 - Fall In Love with the "Business End" of Your Business: One reason owners get bored with painting is that they focus on the same old tasks that are done the same old way. For some reason, they look at marketing, sales, operations and management as something “unimportant” that just gets in the way of the “real work” of painting.
This is another problem because the MONEY is in the business systems. Not wiggling your hand at the end of a brush or poll. Since you already understand the painting trade, why not get interested, curious and serious about the business systems that facilitate lower stress and higher income?
4 – Take a Leap of Faith & Find Your Motivation – 2024 is almost over. Do you want 2025 to be another boring year of resentful, unfulfilling work?
It will be the SAME if you have the SAME gameplan, mindset, tools and systems in place. Nothing ever “magically” gets better – at least not before it gets worse again.

And I’d be happy to help.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year
