Are you burned out or bored out?

Do you ever get that feeling where you’re overwhelmed doing a boring task or something you hate doing? Even though it’s something you can easily do, you get burned out by it?

I just learned what it’s called: being bored out. I learned about it in this LinkedIn post.

We all have things that bore us out.

Tasks that are

  • repetitive
  • don’t challenge you,
  • wastes your time.

Send it to an OFS.

You can do these jobs. But they’re just so mentally and emotionally draining, the thought of doing them everyday bums you out. Then, when you’re actually doing it, it feels like it’s taking you forever just to finish them.

One task that bores me out is answering emails. It only takes me an hour at most every day to do it. But if I start my day screening and answering needless emails, it drains my energy. It affects the work that I need to do for the rest of the day.

I sent it to an OFS.?

Do you have the time to do tasks that bore you out? Yes!

But just because you have the time and energy to do those tasks doesn’t mean you should. More so if you want to achieve the four-hour workweek lifestyle.

Living the four-hour workweek isn’t just about working less. It’s about working smart. Every hour you work should give you more time and make you more money.

Send it to an OFS!

If you spend those four precious hours on tasks that bore you out, you’re just wasting your time. You’ll need to work more just to do the tasks that you actually NEED to do in your business!

When I encounter a task that bores me, I remove it from my plate and send it to my OFS.

Emails, writing, research, lead gen, customer support, social media, coding, whatever it is. I let them deal with it so I’ll have the time and energy for meaningful work and tasks I’m excited about.

Like making Onlinejobs.ph better and educating people about Online Filipino Specialists.

I do that work because it challenges me. Most importantly, focusing on those things allows me to sustain my lifestyle.

But I ONLY do the thinking work and some content creation. The rest I…

Send to an OFS.

Don’t let yourself get bored out.

Save your time and energy for the work that challenges you and improves your business.

For everything else, give that to your Online Filipino Specialist. You can find them at Onlinejobs.ph.

What tasks bore you out? Have you outsourced them to your OFS yet? Let me know!
