You will burn out if you don't rest

Burnout is very real and can impact your levels of motivation, happiness, and can have a really detrimental impact on your family. ??


If you have experienced the damaging effects of burnout, then my aim is to inspire you to believe, it is possible to achieve better results than ever before, whilst not burning out in the process ??


Right now you may question whether this is really possible? If so that's fine. I had to be convinced too.... And if I am honest I still at times fall into the trap of working far too hard. This habitual pattern of working takes time and patience to change, however when you get better at recognising the warning signs, you will be better equipped, to nip this in the bud, before it's too late ?.

Ok, but first I want to be very real with you.

Despite feeling like I had addressed the temptation to work incredibly hard many years ago, for the last few weeks, I have been falling back into some bad habits. Although this can be hard to sometimes accept, the magic comes when you recognise this and LEARN and GROW.


So many people share a struggle they faced after the event. It is much harder to be REAL and share when you are struggling in the MOMENT.


I care deeply about what I do and when you live with more purpose it really is transformational. However, sometimes I can go a bit too far, and get too emotionally involved. I have been doing that quite a lot lately and last week this resulted in me feeling shattered. ?? Also in reality, some things DON’T go to plan. I have always had to work hard at being ok with this. At the same time, I feel blessed, as 3 years ago I was introduced to a new mental toolkit, which helps ME and all my clients, to get back on TRACK. This still takes work, but is profound and life changing... ??


4 things I want to share with you today, which continue to help ME and my clients in moments like this:


1?? Recognise if you are going off track

2?? Take a break and shift your thinking

3?? 'Work hard' at letting go

4?? Remember there is good even in adversity


Let’s be open about our struggles and strengthen our toolkit to deal with them... ??
