Why didn't internet tell you?

Because I made these mistakes over the years of my freelancing journey ;-)

I have worked with

• Good clients
• Bad clients
• Clients who made me become a better writer
• Clients who are more like a family today
• Clients who drained my energy
• Clients who drained my bank account balance and more

These experiences were my teacher.

It was annoying while dealing with it. Reflecting on them today, it was amazing!

Why?

I learnt them, understood the lessons and became a better manager to myself. And now I wrote a mini-book on it so that you could avoid these mistakes in your journey.

Now I know thet from 1000s of mistakes I would make in this lifetime, these 7 won't be one of them.

What are they?

1. Do not rush to get EVERYTHING right
2. Do not depend ONLY on job portals
3. Do not be a freelancer to a small-scale freelancer (they’re ready to prey and exploit you)
4. Do not IGNORE writing contracts
5. There’s a huge difference between working in multiple projects for one low-paying client v/s taking multiple low-paying clients at once, INITIALLY.
6. Do not rush to niche
7. Never forget to have a good portfolio
