Are you on AUTOPILOT?

?? In our fast-paced world, our days and weeks tend to be so busy and structured that we often just operate on autopilot.?
Both in our personal and professional lives, we “just do”; we know exactly what needs to happen next, our diary, what the goal is, what’s expected of us and we just keep on taking action to tick off our responsibilities.?
?? As leaders, being on autopilot can be counterproductive. In fact, when we’re operating in an automated way, we might miss new opportunities, details or paths that can lead to even more powerful results.?
Especially when chasing after unprecedented, disruptive results, turning off your autopilot is extremely beneficial.?
?? So how do you stop being on autopilot??
It all comes down to BEING INTENTIONAL.?
When we slow down, reflect, and become intentional about what we’re doing, that’s when we can override the autopilot. Once we do that, we can really tune into what it is we want to achieve (and how) and spot what’s working or what’s holding us back.
Blindspots and triggers suddenly become visible and we might even realise we’ve been busy with the wrong thing all along.?
??If you become intentional, you can also reclaim some of your energy back, because you find yourself being laser-focused on your true vision and on the actions that really make a difference to your results.?
Being intentional is something I work on with all my clients and they gain great benefits from this process; they find themselves being clearer, mindful of their time and actions and more focused on the ultimate goal they want to achieve.?

They even become clearer on why that goal matters to them, and this leads eventually to increased productivity and greater impact.
?? There’s something very deep and beautiful in slowing down, really being present and intentional about everything we do.?
?? Imagine what that would mean for you - and your team as a whole - if you were to be more focused on every action you’re taking.?
?? Maybe you would find yourself taking more ownership of your vision. Or maybe you would be able to follow through more efficiently, meaning your time would free up. You could even find yourself getting rid of certain goals that are not contributing to the bigger picture.?
?? The greatest benefit to being intentional in your actions, however, is that it will also make you more intentional about who you are being - and that’s the source of all your results!?
At this point, you might be wondering what you can do to kickstart this journey towards being more intentional.?
???? Here are three things for you to try today:??
And that’s it. I can’t wait for you to give it a go and see the great benefits that becoming intentional can bring you.?
