You are Not Alone

My brother Peter Wanene, I may not have ever met you face-to-face but I know you’re one of my ardent followers and I’ve come across what you posted publicly on FB and I hereby wish to dedicate these writings to you.

It is natural to feel like giving up. Great men of God like Moses, Elijah, Job, Jonah and Jeremiah at some point wished they were dead. The burdens were too burdensome to bear any further.

But the stars shine brightest when the night is darkest. At times God allows us to go through tough seasons to arrest our attention because the quieter we are, the louder we hear His direction.

The good news is that God is faithful – He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear. You are up-to the challenges He has allowed you to go through. He expects you to win the race of life. You must never give up the fight. He is waiting for you at the finishing line to cheer you up.

Some more good news – no season lasts, no matter how tough it may seem. Seasons are like the waves of the sea. They rise and fall. No matter how strong the emotions, they won’t last a week. Never make irreversible choices based on temporal emotions.

Don’t make an eternal choice based on temporal challenges. See this season as an opportunity to disrupt yourself and recourse your life. You can literally close your current chapter and start all over again elsewhere. The end of a matter is the beginning of a new journey.

Should you want someone to journey with you in this season of your life, let me know. You are not alone. You were never meant to solve all your problems by yourself. You were hard wired for relationships. Connections give life meaning. Isolation limits imagination.
