Pronounced like?this, Hopium seems to be the elephant in the room for many.
It’s a dangerous drug, and I can only hope and pray you’re not hooked.
While opium comes from poppies, “hopium” comes from:
You probably know someone that suffers from a “hopium” addiction.
Rather than facing reality and embracing control of their own lives, these poor souls are quite literally relying on a?hope?and a prayer.
And I’m sure I don’t need to tell you there’s a better way…
You don’t necessarily need help from me, but it might be worthwhile to get some help and support from someone.
Make a plan, put it into action, and regularly review and update it.
It’s as simple as that.
But simple and easy aren’t the same thing, especially for someone with a hopium problem.
Or as the Cheshire cat and Alice in Wonderland discussed,
“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?”
“That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,” said the Cat.
“I don’t much care where—” said Alice.
“Then it doesn’t matter which way you go,” said the Cat.
“—so long as I get?somewhere,” Alice added as an explanation.
“Oh, you’re sure to do that,” said the Cat, “if you only walk long enough.”
Personally, I believe it’s good to know where you’re going and how you’re going to get there even if we know there will be some inevitable detours and alternate routes along the way.
