Are you adapting the right Agile framework ! in a Brave organisation.

As I am certified SAFe 5 Agilist assisted a lot of organistions into their transformation journey, I noticed many organisations talking about how they being agile!, when they take certain trends or decisions that not relevant to agility & to be a #house of #lean, in my journey I saw unfortunately most of them are #mistaken in terms of their understanding about agility & how it works & what could fit in with them considering the #organisational #culture and its #maturity. That’s why I'd to sail with you in a basic SAFe & Agile tour in this article.

#Agile refers to the ability to move fast and readily while being nimble. It is the capacity to shift course swiftly, deliberately, and with finesse

But first lets take a tour to know what is SAFe :

The Agile #Mindset encourages collaborative, cross-functional teams and a manner of working that allows for quick feedback and direction changes.

Characteristics of an Agile team :

Three characteristics are shared by all Agile teams:

1. Cross-functional :?

Teams have everything they need to provide value.

2. Collaboration :?

Teams create value together, both inside their team and with their customers.

3. Quick response :?

Teams regularly assess if they are providing value and change as appropriate.

The #Agile #Manifesto :

In response to the various obstacles of traditional project management, the Agile Manifesto was founded in 2001, and several lighter-weight and more iterative development approaches were developed. Here's a quick rundown of the Agile Manifesto.

This significant that:

1. We prioritize direct communication and the individuals performing the task.

2. We concentrate on developing the solution and receiving frequent feedback.

3. We strive to please clients via collaborating with them to obtain the finest results possible.

4. In order to succeed, we must adapt to client demands as they arise.

Agile Transition :?

Agile will most certainly alter what it means to be a team member, the length of your work cycles, the frequency of customer input, the frequency of releases, and the complexity of freshly launched products.

Lets review our traditional way of work & operation:

Traditional development employs a succession of stage-gates and linear phases that are sometimes shown as a waterfall.

1. Identify all the requirements first

2. Complete the design.

3. Carry everything out

4. Check it all to be sure.

Traditional waterfall approaches deliver value all at one time, the very end.

What happens if organizations grow in this fashion, but then become behind schedule or need to change? How can they help?

They usually need to start over after defining all the criteria, finishing the design, and doing some of the implementation, which takes time away from the verification process.

In the end, quality suffers as they hasten delivery, which is certain to result in problems.

What if they performed their duties & operations differently?

What if they manage to construct a tiny portion of the system quickly? Although it isn't the entire system, it is a functional component that they may utilize to get input.

They increase their worth over the short term. They continue to bring value over time.

The Agile Mindset

The #Agile #team:

The Agile Team is a 5 to 11 persons cross-functional organization that organizes itself and manages itself. The team's composition and size are ideal for fostering engagement, effective communication, and value-creation.

Because the team is cross-functional, it possesses all the responsibilities and abilities required to create and deliver value in increments. The team's self-organization, cross-functional makeup, ongoing communication, healthy conflict, and dynamic interaction may make the workplace more effective and pleasurable for its members.

#User #Stories are used by Agile Teams to complete #tasks.

User Stories are concise explanations of a certain, limited capability. They include just enough details so that commercial and technical professionals may comprehend the intended purpose.

User Stories: Represent a task that can be finished in one iteration, usually in two weeks or less. and written from the viewpoint of the client

How is your User Story, written :

User Stories are value-focused because they concentrate on how the system helps the user.

The user-voice format for tale writing is as follows to support this:

"I wish to (activity) as a (user role), so that (business value). As a (user role), I want to (activity), so that (business value).?"

Teams aim to comprehend who is using the system, what they are doing with it, and why by employing this structure. The team's subject expertise is increased by using the user-voice format since they are better able to comprehend the actual needs of their user.
