YORKSHIRE BUSINESSES JOIN FORCES TO MAKE A GIN-TASTIC CHOCOLATE TREAT
Great news for all the gin and chocolate lovers out there...
Whitakers Chocolates have teamed up with fellow Yorkshire family business, Whittaker's Gin to create a boozy chocolate treat.?
Whitakers Chocolates who have been master chocolatiers in Skipton for over 130 years, have teamed up with Harrogate’s well known craft gin producer, Whittaker’s Gin to create a delicious combination of dark chocolate Pink Gin fondant creams.
Whitakers Chocolates have been making fondant creams for over 60 years, using the same family recipe! These new chocolates boast Whitakers Chocolates signature rich dark chocolate and creamy fondant centres which are infused using Whittaker’s ‘Pretty in Pink’ Gin – making the perfect partnership.
?William Whitaker, managing director of Whitakers Chocolates, commented “I am thrilled to be working alongside a fellow family run Yorkshire business such as Whittaker’s Gin. For us, it wasn’t just the synergy with the name (although it is great!) but working with another local business to create something special and all made right here in Yorkshire.”

We use our award winning 42% Pink Particular which has dried Hibiscus Flowers within to add that vibrant pink colour you’ll see when tasting the chocolates”.?
First production commenced in July, with the final product being available for sale from today! Anyone wanting to get their hands on these new Pink Gin fondant creams can order from both Whitakers Chocolates and Whittaker’s Gin online shops as well as being stocked in independent retailers across the country.
