YONER Liberia CEO named Hero of Change, Liberia 2023

Jarius Andrew Greaves, Founder and CEO of YONER Liberia, has been named Heroes of Change, along with four other Liberians working to promote social development in Liberia. Jarius and his fellow heroes were nationally celebrated for demonstrating resilience, by their visible, tangible and traceable impact in their respective sectors of operations.?

The award ceremony marked the Inaugural Convening of the MoMo Heroes of Change, a flagship program of Lonestar MTN Liberia, Liberia’s largest GSM network provider. The event was held on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf (EJS) Ministerial Complex, Congo Town, Monrovia, Liberia, under the themed “Celebrating the Resilience Spirit of Liberia”. The program aims at identifying, celebrating and honoring citizens of Liberia who are doing incredible work across all 15 counties.

On March 28, 2023, Lonestar MTN/Liberia launched the Call for Nomination considering areas of Education, Health, Tech, and Youth and Women Empowerment. With huge attraction, Jarius was one of 6,000+ nominees from all 15 counties. After a thorough assessment, he made it to the Top 100 list. Through extensive evaluation of nominees work in their respective communities by an independent panel of judges and with guidance from a Governance Council, Jarius was selected as one of the top 30 nominees. Through public voting, further assessment, and a validation exercise by the panel of judges and the governance council, he again progressed to the top 10. Finally, a subsequent, rigorous round of voting, deliberation and evaluation ensued to make the cut from 10 to 5 finalists, of which Jarius’ presence was maintained.

At 5th place, Jarius was awarded and named a MoMo Hero of Change 2023. As a MoMo Hero, he accrued the following prizes/Awards/ support from Lonestar Cell MTN:?
