YogaINCorporate
The situations we face in our corporate lives teach us a lot. They are tough, amusing, demanding and sometimes downright crazy! I have picked up some of these situations and tried to draw parallels with some Yoga asanas or Yoga poses!
Neither am I a Yoga expert nor have I cracked the corporate code yet! Just sharing a fun perspective here!
Please read the captions that go with each of the poses!
Let me know if you too can think of some corporate situations and the asanas that go with it!
Happy Yoga!
Looking Back : Vakrasana
History often repeats itself .. As you set out to take that key decision, look back and you may be able to anticipate the future better ..
I have your back! : Chakrasana
Pray not for a lighter workload, but for a stronger back. A stronger back can also mean that you are always there for others and can carry extensive workload. You may soon be known as the backbone of your team! (Charkrasan strengthens the spine)
Stay afloat : Dhanurasana
When the going gets tough, the tough get going. Keep your chin up and your boat will cross the stormy waters soon.
Not going your way! : Shirshasana
And then there are days when you want to pull your hair out when nothing seems to be working. The world seems to be topsy-turvy. No problem, you become topsy-turvy too, and the upside-down world will look straight again! (Shirshasana is known as the king of all asanas)
Keep calm & carry on! : Sarvnangasana

It is important to remain grounded even in moments of heady success. Keep your focus on your feet, which keep you grounded! Just like your fortune, they may be down one day, but up another! (Sarvnangasan is known as the queen of all asanas)

3 年This is excellent and refreshing, especially on Monday morning :). I would also pair this with 2 - 5mins breathing exercises. No, you don’t have to be a yoga Guru to master the pranayama but just 5 (in)-5 (out) breathing for 2 min would restore a lot of energy! Very good thought process .. hope I(We) take inspiration from here .. Happy Yoga!
