YODA MATCHA COOKIES

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup butter, softened

? cup sugar

1 egg white

2 tsp – 2 Tbs matcha (green tea powder)

Dash salt

2 ?-1/2 cup flour


PROCEDURE

Cream butter and sugar.

Add egg white, salt and matcha. Mix well

Gently add in flour and stir until just combined.

Wrap and place in refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

Preheat oven to 3500

Roll to 3/8 thickness. Dip cookie cutter in flour before each cookie to prevent sticking.

If a particularly warm day, place formed cookies in refrigerator for 5 minutes before baking to help them keep shape.

Bake for 10-12 minutes. Cool and enjoy with your favorite tea.
