Yin and yang, fire and water, selling and closing. There is duality everywhere in life. 1 year—plant a seed: I’ve said before that you can get rich quick, but nobody gets wealthy quick. A year from now you can get rich if you start planting the right seeds today. You won’t have a big oak tree in 12 months, but something will bloom a year from now. What are you planting? Are you training daily on Cardone University? If you don’t start planting now, there won’t be much of a harvest later.

10 years—plant a tree: A decade is more than enough time to begin building generational wealth that will change your entire family’s financial future. There’s no reason that you can’t get multiple flows of income going by 2027 and have your life look completely different than it does today. Bill Gates once said, “Most people overestimate what they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in ten years.” A decade is a long time, and if you stay focused on BIG goals you can reach them and then some.

100 years—teach the people: Once you start thinking long term, what is it that you want to accomplish? Nobody just wants money. We want money because of what money can do. Do you want to build something, start something, help something? Start thinking about the year 2117 and what you want your money to be doing. This is where your legacy comes in, the lasting impact of the dollars you make.
