As a long time fan and love of all music, upon arriving on the music scene in 1984 with a song called "Had a Dream" (For The Heart) the Judds release their All time Greatest Hits album this year, which features a Judds lovers plate full of hits and songs that we came to know and love. Starting off this miraculous album is a song from 1984 and a number one song called "Mama He's Crazy" and boy howdy did this bring back the memories. Between Naomi & Wynonna. Wynonna born Christina Ciminella, are a hugely successful duo and made a real impact on the country music scene. A follow up to that song was yet another solid gold single called "Why Not Me" which was the winner of the CMA Country Music Association single of the year for 1984. "Girls Night Out" which took the Country music scene by storm, especially the girls out there, it brought unity with all the girls out there and gave them validity to go out and have their fun also."Love Is Alive" is yet another song in the long list of solid gold singles in the illustrious career of the two women known as the Judds. "Have Mercy" is a song that really expresses the full flavor and musical diversity of the Judds musical talents. "Grandpa Tell Me Bout the Good Old Days" just a little song talkin about the memories and thoughts shared between grandchild & grandparents. 'Rockin With the Rhythm of The Rain" is one of those songs that brings in the element of rock and roll & rhythm & blues and with a country twist but is a phenomenal song and one of my favorites. " Cry Myself to Sleep" is a solid ballad and a great love song that makes one really feel the power of song writing and the tremendous ability to convey this with the beautiful voices of Naomi & Wynonna Judd. With this song ended their number one winning streak of songs, the next song was a number one song for Elvis Presley called "Don't be Cruel" and the Judds in my opinion did an admirable job on this song but I enjoy their own stuff much better. As the decade of the eighties started the down hill climb toward the 90's the Judds once again came alive with their followup with the song and continued their string of solid gold singles. "I Know Where I'm Going" and in true to style the Judds just have that ability to sing a song that relates and is just a good song, apparently so it was yet the Judds 9th number one song. With this song under their boots, the follow up is an equally better song called "Maybe Your Baby's Got The Blues" and it seemed as I listen to the song like their way of seeing what was going on in their own personal lives as well. With the huge success of the Judds, thus far, it would only be appropriate for them to have a song that really got people really taking notice of them, and I do believe the song "Turn it Loose" was a live song brought to life through studio work and the Judds musical inflection and ability to relate to what people like to hear. 'Give A Little Love" is yet another reason the Judds commanded respect within the industry and their fans, with this song the Judds kept the upper hand in their court."Change Of Heart" is a song that reflects thoughts and once again a time in their personal lives as well. "Young Love" written by Naomi herself, adds the true style of who the Judds are as musical legends and as American Musical treasures."Let Me Tell you About Love" is even more reasons to love the Judds way of singing their songs and making it emotionally fulfilling, especially a true love song like this. "One Man Woman" the kind of song that reflects of honesty and how in my opinion the Judds were feeling at the time of the release of this song. With the Start of the 90's country music was evolving into the new sounds and yet people wanted to hear real & honest country music and this song came to life "Born to Be Blue" was almost a cry out from the Judds and emotionally stirring song but a very pointed and directive song about the low times of life and what I perceived what Wynonna may have been going through at the time. "Love Can build A Bridge" is a super song that was another song that Naomi had written and has heart felt lyrics and is a fine example of tremendous writing style and one of my all time favorite songs. With the song called "One Hundred and Two" reflects the song writing abilities of Wynonna and her style of a singer where she projects her true feelings and emotions through her gift of songwriting abilities and an almost bluesy tune that adds vulnerability to her country style. The last song on this wonderful & complete collection of songs is called ""Flies On the Butter" (You Can't Go Home Again) between Naomi & Wynonna this really showcases their unique style of music that continues to amaze and keep me as their forever fan and brings focus into the picture and adds the element of realism and their beautiful harmonies that they have and always will share with all of us that remain The Judds All time fans and followers of, and.... this song takes and keeps me there forever.
