"Skills in recognizing irony and understanding metaphors are advised to be activated before reading it."

He expressed feeling out of place in society, caught between the demands of being on the right side politically and still feeling like an outsider. As a biracial individual—half Latin and half Norwegian—he felt this pressure even more. He spoke of the need to defend the authenticity of literature, cinema, and societal values as we know them, hoping to avoid the stress of having to conform to something he isn't familiar with, such as mermaids with darker skin tones, Cleopatras not exactly looking like Liz Taylor, a Hebrew Jesus with blue eyes. He passionately argued, hoping to prevent possible changes on the Snow White Disney sequel, fearing alterations like making her Latin or using "they" pronouns to the dwarfs. It made me think about how we all have strong opinions and fervently advocate for what we believe in, hoping to NOT make a difference.

My personal cause revolves around advocating for DEIB awareness, although I no longer know if am aware of all its aspects.. I base my points on the law to be objective as possible. Equal rights are well described in most of the democratic countries, empowered by sanctioned laws. Therefore, it occurred to me that just because certain laws exist, it doesn't mean equality is fully achieved in practice. Waw, what an epiphany Elaine. There's still much work to be done in our society to ensure fairness and equal opportunities for everyone. However I do live in country empowered by those laws, so I guess my advocacy is unnecessary. Someone should have told me that I am wasting my time.

The world is evolving rapidly, thanks to AI and technological advancements. Perhaps these machines will achieve what both sides of the political spectrum have been striving for, often with great conflict. A world in where cultural shifts, business dynamics, and profitability shouldn't clash with environmental regulations, where individuals named J.`s or Petter Son`s continue delivering their great work with their high IQ`s, using their eloquence and precise wording to bring to life their truth. And out of the blue, I can assert that Pay equality, should not depend on your boss's comfort with your cultural background but should be based on merit and fairness. And so it continues, as you`ve probably heard before. By the way, what it is fairness? Call me when you figure it out.

As we begin this new year, I urge everyone to open your hearts, ears, and eyes to a new reality. There are undoubtedly many wrongs that need to be addressed, but we must continue discussing what's right, so that one day, everyone can feel comfortable and respected, whether you are on the right or the left side.

Welcome to 2024! Let's cherish life and its beauty from our comfortable, warm homes, and keep witnessing the unfortunate realities of ethnic wipeouts, other criminal acts against women, and the daily struggles and assassinations faced by the LGBTQ+ community. Let's strive for a fair and equal society, ensuring equal opportunities for all.

But above of all, please do not forget to buy the new skis models for cross country and slalom; the ski season is on!
