Yesterday is Gone, Enjoy Today because Tomorrow Never Comes - Kritika Raju

Mahi Arora a 10 year old studying in CSF Shine school grew up to be bubbly and vivacious.

Her school and home were only 30 feet apart, and so her father used to drop her to school in the morning and mother picked her up in the evening.

There was a beautiful park on the way. Mahi loved the park and longed to visit it. But there was always something that would stop her.

Some days it could be extra homework, cousins at home, rains, or even maintenance work at the park.

Days passed by, weeks passed and it was almost 4 months and but, she hadn’t visited the park.

One day, while crossing the road, Mahi was lost in the thoughts of the park and did not see the speeding bike that hit her. Mahi met with an accident and was left crippled.

The doctors at the hospital told her parents that she might not be able to walk again.

Mahi was left in tears, and immidiately called her parents and asked them to take her to that park.

Mr and Mrs Arora tried telling her that it was not the right time, but then Mahi told them, that it was already too late and now she could not visit the park on her own.

She then told her parents “Yesterday is Gone, I need to Enjoy Today because Tomorrow Never Comes”

Mr and Mrs Arora then ordered a wheelchair to take Mahi to the park.

Mahi had great time in the park and came home all smiles.
