‘Yesterday’ is a touching feature film I coloured in South Africa. The unembellished story of aids in rural Africa beautifully told. It was nominated for a foreign film Oscar. I love stories about the lives of ordinary people and what befalls them in everyday life. The colour follows and changes with the seasons of the story as it becomes unbearably real. What was once a happy household is forever altered. DP Michael Brierley; editor Avril Beukes.
