Yes...another person is blogging!

In the following weeks and months, I hope to share some of my insights gained over the years that have shaped me personally and professionally. I don't expect them to be profound, life-changing revelations for you - but maybe they'll help you not grab the proverbial stove once or twice or reaffirm something you already believe to be true. Either of those would make this time well spent.

There are a million voices out there in business and the world all vying for attention. The subtle thing Id like to do differently is focus on two things: folks in the middle of organizations (every book seems to be about the C-suite or individual self help) and share translatable knowledge that will apply to you and your journey (with any luck). There will be more focus on the practical for those of us who are both trying to manage and manage up and can't just dictate policy to a whole organization.

Ultimately, this is a chance for me to get many of my thoughts out there in the world in a way that will allow others to see if they feel the same way. The thing our society needs most right now is the ability to not just share ideas in a one-sided fashion to an audience that will just shake it's head but to hear contrarian ideas and learn so I hope we can have that happen.?
