Yes, I Wrote a Book. And Yes, This is Me Promoting It.

Yes, I Wrote a Book. And Yes, This is Me Promoting It.

Do you know what the most challenging part of writing a book is? Or, at least the most challenging part for me writing this particular book , featured in the image above?

Promoting it. I can't tell you how uncomfortable promoting this book has been.

Why? I'm not a spiritual guru. I don't pretend to be the perfect person who has figured out life and has completely awoken.

All I can say is my mental state since 2020 has improved dramatically. It started with me understanding the right perspective. And then, I learned new tools and practices, which I continue to use today.

The result – most of my anger is gone. I'm much more accepting of people. I have stronger relationships. My career has reached new heights.

The bottom line, my life has improved in virtually every aspect. Everything I learned I put in the book.

But don't take my word for it. Here's what people wrote about it after they read it (and no, these aren't my family members. To be honest, I was pleasantly shocked by some of the reviews):

  • "This book is small, but mighty and packed with insight. It changed the way I think about facing fears, self-improvement, and even life after death."
  • "This book is a great, to-the-point, read about what's important. Lots of real-life examples of how to center oneself and focus on one's own behavior rather than on everyone else's. Loved it!"
  • "Inspiring me to use quiet time as a mental health tool and to appreciate all of the positives in my life. The book is so easy to read and should appeal to adults of any age."
  • "I applaud your courage and appreciate the topics discussed throughout your essays as they really forced me to reflect on my life... this is an extremely well-written book that comes highly recommended to others."

Yes, here's the part where I put the Amazon link to it – here it is .

I promise you, for everyone who follows this newsletter, this will be my last time doing such a self-promotional post.

Last thing. For anyone thinking about doing something risky, but feeling a lot of fear about it –?just do it. At times, it sucks. It's hard. You'll feel more insecure than you've ever felt before.

But, if you are doing it to help people or to help yourself or because you know, deep down, it's what you should do (or all three), it'll work out. And you'll feel good about it in the long run.

All the best. I hope you enjoy the book.

How does one find peace in the midst of chaos? Watching my employer, the PO implode from the inside out? Look Up USPS OIG KEY and the fact that Aug 2020 postal police were taken off of patrol as criminals were informed how easy it is to get a key. LOVE my job, don't want to retire but I cannot change PMG Louis DeJoy's ultimate plan. (Google Dominick VS Louis DeJoy, The Guardian).
