A YES? OR A NO? CONGRATULATIONS!!!

...building a younger and self-driven generation for leadership, innovation and overall development in Africa.
It is that time of the year when graduate schools send their decision on the application made by prospective graduate students. Whether you are being accepted or rejected, it is congratulations to everyone. Congratulations to those who have gotten their offers, congratulations to those who are yet to receive theirs, and congratulations to those who have received rejections because you are very close to reality. There is no time to mourn over the rejections, restrategize and try again until you accomplish your dreams. Don't forget the place of persistence; persistence is another key factor to accomplishment. Discouragement can only be a distraction; keep pushing until you push through.?
You are very close to getting a?YES!
Getting a fully-funded offer comes at a cost, which is about getting the right information, your preparedness, consistency, and diligence. Your success lies in your hands, and you have to believe in yourself. The year has begun with another round of scholarship opportunities rolling in, but before you start making new applications, assess yourself and answer these questions;
● How have you been writing your Statement of Purpose (SOP)? Your SOP for all schools should not be generic but specific and tailored towards the requirements of each school. Attend webinars that will enlighten you on submitting great applications, meet people that have gone through the process before and try giving your essays out to trusted reviewers.?
● Have you really been writing well? Check the SOP you have been submitting before and identify some significant flaws. Check those essays you have also been submitting for your scholarship applications. Do it differently this time.
● What relevant skills and experiences do you have??
● If you are transitioning into another field of study, what relevant experience and knowledge do you have about the new field??
● Have you taken some relevant online courses?
● Are you prepared for graduate school?
● What do you have to offer? A YES can come from a professor when you have experiences to help enhance his research
● Have you really been involved in extracurricular activities like volunteering and taking leadership roles?
● Have you been specific and intentional about your career plans and goals?
Your application goes through a holistic review process, and you need to package your application well this time around, do it differently and in a more excellent way. Don't be distracted by the rejection emails; keep moving. That massive offer will come soon!!?
Nevertheless, you need to be very strong and trust the process. Tony Robbins said, "There are no real successes without rejection." The more rejections you get, the better you are, the more you've learned, the closer you are to your outcome - If you can handle rejection, you'll learn to get everything you want". Your dreams are valid!!!
We wish you the best in your graduate school applications, and we look forward to celebrating your wins.
You will get a YES soon!
