My car was facing problems after the rains in September pandemic times. I opted for 2 mechanics changeover and happened to reach Raza Bhai. He is a young mechanic, working almost 16-18 hours a day, as I could calculate being on his head with my constant follow-ups. A soft smile was his success. While I was leaving with my 1st self-start-car, he called me saying – Bhai Saheb, Yeh Aap ki Apni Dukan hey… (Gentleman, this is your OWN shop). I got the lesson that I have been teaching as a true practitioner and today as a small businessman. If you can open someone’s heart with a smile, why bother your tongue.
The importance of better Customer Services is something that you realize when you become a customer. This flip flop in life is interesting as we practice differently and expect differently. Stale, frown, fade face grumbling with bad words and bitter language always ends up in losing a regular customer. CRM – today, one of the most important studies to connect to your customer teaches politeness, welcoming attitude, a bowing with humility the way Chinese do, and positivity in getting hold of the lead and turn into a customer. Sometimes, in this world of constant connections, you may come across someone when you are not in the right mood. Success code tells us to relax, wait for the right mood, and then start the deal. Once you pitch correctly, your words will find the right combination and welcome the partner you meet.
I agree and believe that performance, the maturity of a given solution, the better mileage, and the efficiency of the product are the reasons behind a confirm sale deal. However, at the same time, one should not forget that sales are turned down by decision-makers if the dealer fails to deliver satisfactorily. Some of the most common reasons for a failed deal are bad behavior, not catering to the customer as required, and keeping the customer waiting for too long. These factors play an important role and force a customer to move to an alternative.
Visit MAK BBQ (previously known as Al-Haj Bundoo Khan) in PECHS or DHA any time for dinner (of course for parcels in a pandemic). You will be confronted by a happy Pappu Bhai with open arms receiving guests as if he has invited them for Valima – and guests though, customers, flock in numbers as if the food is for FREE. The reason is hospitality; good food is available everywhere on apps and delivered on doorsteps. It’s the love of the owner for the product and services that close the deal for the business. As per my parents, if my father missed 2 straight Fridays (the off day a few decades back), the vegetable shop owner used to send his boy to ask if all is well. That’s the base of Customer Relationship.
This is a time of Lead Management, Conversions, reminders, and knock-knock strategy until the time the sale is done. Companies use Mailing Lists, What's app Broadcasts, PodCasts, Youtube Videos, and several advertisements and influencer models to remind and reconnect memories of buyers and en-route them to buy.
All campaigns must have a Call-2-action strategy. Reach your customer. Look happy and Keep them Happy. Show them the power of your offer and let them enjoy the benefits – keep it free for a while.
Central Idea: Customer looks for peace of mind, quality of services, and ease to do business - You need to become a Supplier or a Service Provider where a customer feels safe and comfortable. Your tone needs to be welcoming and your works need to be rewarding. All activities must have a message saying - do come back. Now, evaluate your daily routine and check your vocals and vocabs - are you welcoming your customers?
