...but we do need your help.
Aria Grace LLC, the London based law firm, (please don't stop reading...) was set up at the end of 2017 to do 2 things:
- Create a new business model where true flexibility, diversity and equality, and transparency and equal pay become the norm. It's a bit like the Uber model, but dedicated to a wider set of social issues which should not exist in the modern era.
- We can spread wealth in a fair way, where everyone has the capacity to earn in the same way and enjoy the fruit of their labour and share in the profit of the business. This is a bit like a Co-op or "the John Lewis" model but with the profits being shared equally. This means in particular that the people at the "top" don't cream off and benefit from the work at the "bottom".
We are also great lawyers, who provide commercial / business legal advice at low cost (if you are interested, have a look at www.aria-grace.com, and in particular the "Diversity and Equality" section for more detail), but that is sort of incidental.
We need help. We think that the Aria Grace LLC model is the right model for the future of law for other professional services and the wider business community. Of course there are lots of nuances in how it works, for example, people who work more get paid more and a bigger share of the profit, but that becomes a matter of choice and lifestyle, then there's operational elements, but we think we have those covered.
We are doing the right thing today so we can leave a legacy for the next generation, your kids, my kids. We want to close the gap in the wealth divide. We will have next generation programmes to try to reach into the school kids of today whose parents may not be lawyers, doctors or professionals but whose children might be, if they had the opportunity.
We are not perfect and it's not a perfect model (yet) but we think that this is the right thing to do. Our idea of success is if other sectors (accountants, tech businesses, others) copy the model for themselves.
