The year that was.. the year that will be

Another year has gone by which was filled with moments of grit, determination, happiness and break down. Every one of us has experienced these strong emotions at any point in the hour, day or month. I have listed few takeaways and experiences which helped me grow as a person.

1. Love Yourself: You need to love yourself. Its very important to accept your thoughts, and have peace with the inner self. It's not selfish thought, a sense of clarity is reinstated removing all the clutter. Acceptance is key however good, bad or ugly .
2. Surprise Yourself: you do not know what you are capable unless you try. I had an experience of skydiving a few months back. I had never planned this even in my dreams and that 30 mins fall from 10, 000 feet was amazing just like a free bird. Its OK to sound idiotic, Its OK to look stupid. Try something and Try anything. you will be amazed that it's worth trying
3. Hang In: Not all 365 days will be sugar-coated, there will be days where you will question your own existence. I also had some instances where I just wanted to quit, hang up the boots. Have the grit, determination, and patience to turn the tables around.  Don't lose faith, and stick to your guns.. I am glad that I stuck to my thoughts and tried everything in my hood so just hang on tight..
4. Family and Friends: they form our support structure and nurture our thoughts. Share your happiness and sadness with them. They will be true to you in all your endeavors. Create your inner circle to whom you can approach immediately since its better to have few true friends than a larger lot of fake one's
5. Be Adventurous: If given an opportunity please travel. traveling set's you free. Experience mother nature, she will teach you in unexpected ways that no boardroom can teach you. Everything else will look minuscule in front of her. Lean from the silence of hilltops, the sound of the waves and the breeze from attitude.

2018 will be no different from 2017 there will be 365 days, the sun will rise in the east and set in the west. It's for us how we want to paint it. choose your color wisely to have a beautiful canvas. Hoping that in 2018, we all will reach greater heights and never stop learning. Have a blessed year.
