A Year in Review

As the year comes to a close, we can’t help but reflect on everything we’ve achieved together in 2024. It’s been a year of growth for NorthGuide, as we’ve worked to strengthen the global innovation landscape with our clients, partners, and communities.

Here are some highlights:

Hosted the inaugural Global Ecosystem Summit: Innovation thrives when the right people are in the room. That’s why we were proud to co-host the Global Ecosystem Summit in partnership with Startup Genome and Elevate. Together, we welcomed 200+ leaders from across the globe to dive into the big questions shaping innovation ecosystems today—collaboration, policy, and the future of the innovation economy.

Expanded our expertise: This year, we strengthened both our core team and our extended team of experts, giving us more depth to tackle the challenges our clients face. We brought on new team members to increase our government relations, brand and corporate innovation capabilities, adding leaders like Terry Stuart, Lois Norris, and Anton Sestritsyn, to bring fresh perspectives and unparalleled expertise to numerous projects and our organization.

We also expanded our capabilities by developing and delivering new offerings, including board retreat design and facilitation and communications strategies and execution for major client announcements and events.

Supported clients in raising significant investments: This year, our clients raised over $100 million in investments and diversified their revenue streams to achieve sustainability with our support, furthering their missions and maximizing their impact in their respective markets. With our guidance, some clients improved their organizational efficiency and governance leading to improved profitability across their organization. These successes underscore the value we bring to driving growth and innovation for the organizations we work with.

Increased our international impact: This year, we expanded our work to Barbados, supporting the development of its innovation ecosystem. This project highlights NorthGuide’s commitment to strengthening innovation ecosystems worldwide, applying our expertise to help regions identify and utilize their strengths to compete globally.

Built on strong client partnerships: We’re proud to have strengthened relationships with mission-driven clients this year through ongoing collaborations and referrals. These partnerships reflect the trust clients place in us and the meaningful impact we create together.

Strengthened connections across sectors: NorthGuide’s reach grew significantly this year as we continued our work across business, government, academia, and non-profit. We expanded our impact across multiple sectors, welcoming new clients with focuses ranging from AI to critical minerals, to health, and beyond. Through events, presentations, and facilitated discussions, we united voices from government, industry, and community organizations, fostering meaningful dialogue on how to collaboratively build a better future.?

As we close out 2024, we’re proud of the work we’ve done to strengthen innovation ecosystems, support impactful organizations, and drive meaningful change. This year has been about collaboration, progress, and laying the groundwork for an even brighter future.
